For those interested in welding on their Bearhawk project I see the EAA is offering a two day TIG welding workshop in Oshkosh Nov 12-13. I have attended a number of workshops there and find them a great skill builder for something you are not familiar with. In particular the composite workshop provided a great bag of tricks which I am using on my build.

I took that class from Wyatt Swaim (Mr TiG) a few years back. Great class and content. Sadly, I just learned that Mr TiG passed away in March from complications resulting from an auto accident. It will be tough to replace the talent in that young man's little finger alone.

Oh that is too bad. I have seen most his videos. There is a new guy teaching at Oshkosh who looks very experienced.

His name is Shaun Walker. I peppered him with welding questions this year at Airventure before one of his forums and his enthusiasm for his new EAA gig was evident. Really nice guy.
