After paying likely way too much attention to this particular attribute of my cabin interior, I've come up with a neat set of grips for not too much cash.
The caveat is that you have to print a part, but I have an .stl file for anyone that wants it. You have to chase the thread with a 5/8-24 tap. At least I did with my 3D printer.

These are the short grips of this brand that fit under my Patrol panel. They do make a longer grip.
They come in various colors and have the added benefit of having "SPANK" emblazoned on your joysticks. There's a locking collar on both ends - one grips the stick and the other the adapter.
Total cost for both grips was around $70 without the 5/8 tap.
