  • Rudder pedal spring retention

Looking for ideas on how to keep the spring end attached to the rudder pedal post. Thinking bolt thru the bushing with penny washer as one solution. Or, bolt a tab with small hole for spring hook? Open to all ideas thoughts and suggestions! Thanks!

Not to sound confrontational, but have you had an issue with it staying on the post, or you solving problems that you think might turn up? My springs are just on the post like in your picture and in over 500 hours they have come off zero times.

Rollie No worries about sounding confrontational Rollie...doesn't come off like that at all! Just considering potential "links in the accident chain" (besides me) Seems to me there should be a more positive (or redundant) method of ensuring that spring end does not come off and wondering if anyone else has some clever solution/method.
