Don't forget to put in the spacer/bushing between the bearings...like I did! Had to drive out one of the bearings (lucky without destroying it) to insert the spacer. Just starting to focus on wings again after working the past 9 months on the fuselage.

Impressive recovery! How did you manage to extract a bearing without damage?

Dpearson Likely a bit of luck! Though, I did have some technique with a brass punch and controlled tapping on the outer race of the bearing from the backside. Luckily the backside was accessible thru the center of the opposite bearing and there was just enough material to get a punch on to work it out. Certainly helped that the spacer/bushing wasn't between the two bearings. Even if the bearing was there it's possible with a smaller punch to do it after sliding or pushing the spacer/bushing off-center, though you will most likely ruin the bearing you punch out...ask me how I know! (LOL)

      Cheers! Dave (from Maine)

Another twist, this one associated with the bellcrank cable turnbuckle setup. I pulled the AN130-22S (turnbuckle with cable eye and fork end assembly) out of the hardware box and original packing from Wicks, h'mmm, somehow looked different to me. Seems that it had been packaged with a long fork arm end versus the short though the cable eye end was the correct "short" length. Mismatched turnbuckle arms! Wicks will be sending me out new fork arm of correct length.
        Always something...
