We had a 3 day fly in over the weekend to Lake Wakitipu (Queenstown), camping at Greenstone Station. Around 20 aircraft attended, a great chance to meet new people and catch up with friends. The scenery in this part of the world is quite spectacular. The highlight for me was flying to Spit Island in the far SW corner of Fiordland. A few of the guys took snorkeling gear and got some crayfish, which they cooked dinner on the BBQ that evening.

Just about to start my BH 5. Though I have never visited NZ this is a prime example of why I am building this airplane. I have followed your build and videos and greatly appreciate your contributions. These pictures are inspirational and all your hard work is now paying off. Congrats!
