Good evening,
So I figure it's time to reintroduce myself. So 6 years ago I started scratch building a Patrol. Well as it happens for most of us life happens, but for us it was in a good way. We had a deal fall into our laps on 17.5 acres of property, most of which was a long narrow hay field. The house on the property had been abandoned for over 20 years and was falling apart and was originally built in 1860 with an addition added in 1960. My wife has always dreamt of an old farm house and well that long narrow hayfield is now my own private runway in the backyard. So it took us a couple years to rebuild the house and then we spent over a year building my dream hangar/shop in the backyard.
So now it is finally time to get back to building, but there is a problem. We now have a Grandbaby and have flown in my buddies model a 4 place a number of times and the wife says we need a 4 place instead of the Patrol. So I sent a check to Bob and got me a set of plans for a model B. so for the last month we have been making ribs and hope to start on spars in next few weeks. I am lucky enough to have several friends and family that want to be a part of the build and we are knocking out parts at an awesome pace!!!!
