Hi everyone. I need help with guessing the weights of Avipro factory parts (circa 2010?) to get an accurate as possible total weight for a trucking company that I hired to move these parts interstate for me. I don't look forward to being hit with an adjusted quote because I was way off with the weights. The quote is flat rate of 2000lbs or under. Any guesses will be better than mine from you folks who have a kit. I have searched the forum and came up with approximate weights of the wings out of the metal cradles. They are now in them, so I don't know how much more that adds to the 100lb weight. Fuselage I found was about 100lb too.
Below is the list of factory parts with my guess for some. I appreciate any input you have to offer. I know some of these are difficult to guess. Thanks for your help.
2 Fuselage one welded one tacked 210lb
2 Wings in cradles one with gas tank installed 210lb
2 Landing gear 14lb
1 Dynafocal Lycoming 0360 engine mount 14lb
2 Horizontal stabilizers 28lb
2 Elevators
1 Rudder 14lb
2 Flaps 14lb
2 Ailerons 14lb
2 fiberglass wing tips
2 Sets of rudder pedals with toe brakes
1 Torque tube
1 push pull tube
2 Control sticks
1 Fiberglass one piece nose bowl 7lb
4 Wing struts 28lb
4 Horizontal stabilizers flying wires
1 Gas tank
20 or so Stabilizer or vertical ribs
20 or so various sized 4130 tubing 70lb
