Lightening holes in stringers

Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have put lightening holes in the aluminum stringers that come with the kits? I was thinking about leaving maybe the ones on the sides that are most likely to be leaned on intact but making holes in the rest.

I milled 1”slots in my lower stringers every foot or so to allow attachment of wires. Slots are about 1/4” wide cut with a router bit. I put them in the center of the stringer where stresses are least. Looking for a picture to attach.
