I"m having a good time with Shapr3D and making some stuff someone else may find useful...

I designed a custom NACA duct because I hacked up cutting the hole in the boot cowl...so, I have this if you want it. Let me know and I'll email the step file to you...I can't post step files here

    And a rudder cable fairing:

I designed the fairing just for educational purposes but it ought to be very functional

Mark we can adjust which file types are allowed. What is the extension and what is a typical file size?

The file extension is step or stp. The the naca duct file is right at 1MB,,,the fairing file is about 224KB

Edit: Here's a zip file with the files: Parts.zip

The .zip workaround is a good idea, I have also enabled .stp and .step just now with a max file size of 15mb. Let me know if you have any other trouble!

You are becoming a prolific 3d modeler. How do you like Shapr3d? Assume you’re not using an iPad and pencil. I’m a big fan of OnShape.

I hate to say that I really like it. The part I hate is that it's not free And yes, I'm using it on Windows
