@ U2fletch made a great design for the FlyLED Beacon mount. I made a few changes to work for my plans and I wanted to share it.
No offense but I didn't like the idea of gluing the mount in. You never know if the mount brakes or something and need to replace it.
The idea I wanted was to screw it in with recessed screws and dimple the metal. The mount I created will sit over the dimples and has threaded inserts in the mount for the lid and attaching to the mounting plate.
I also created a template for #40 drill bit.
