  • How to cut off wing skins with router

I am looking for some input tod cut off my overlaps and trailing edges of my wing skins with a router using a flush cut bit. Not sure if guys are using the table top router or handheld, and how to address the straight edge templates for the router bearing to follow. Any suggestions or pics would be appreciated. Thanks. Presuming they’re off the plane, and you have the flexibility to do this, I used the edge of my bench as a guide with my hand router when cutting my spar blanks in a similar fashion. Take a look here.

I had an idea for cutting my spar blanks that I wondered would work, and I was certainly not disappointed. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160406/af2219d91f6fc773
