Normalized 4130

Hello everyone, the 4-place model B plans call for .072 and .062 4130 normalized steel sheet to fabricate the flap and aileron hinges. Does anyone know of a supplier that has these thicknesses? The best I could find is .071 and .063 with normalized treatment, which seems to be the standard.

Use the .071 and .063. You'll be fine.

Those thicknesses fall within the tolerance of standard stock, use what you found and build on. Be sure what you get is normalized, some places offer material certs to go with it, for a premium of course.
