Dave. They look very nice. Looks like a nice design. my one comment would be about the screws. Can they be locked? could you use a clevis pin and cotter pin or a bolt and locking nut in place of the two screws and standoff? I would want to make sure there is no way for the screws to come out. I like your design a lot though.John Snapp (Started build in Denver, CO) Now KAWO -Arlington Washington Bearhawk Patrol - Plans #255 Scratch built wing and Quickbuild Fuselage as of 11/2021. Looking good, just make sure to locktite the screws and put some torque seal on them so you can see if they rotate any. Might want to consider hogging out some of the center of the U bracket to lighten them up a bit, every little bit helps keep it light. You would then have 4 "fingers" holding it in place rather than 2 sides...if that makes sense.Joe

Very flash!! Cosmetically and functionally very, very nice.
From an engineering perspective, I trust you already know you are over-engineering a very simple part - which I perfectly understandable - because I guess you must be building for the sheer love of it!
If you can put that kind of engineering ability to use on improving the function of some part in a big way, e.g. a change to fowler flaps, that would really help the plane when you're done. You won't be able to enjoy the extra engineering on those hidden parts except when you annual the aircraft.
Those pulleys and cables seem to have a very low wear rate, I think they will last at least 1000hrs.
