  • Rosen Sun Visors

    Hey All...

I know that a few folks have tried the Rosen sun visors in their BH aircraft, but I couldn't find what specific ones were used. I called Rosen this morning and they said their universal fit would probably work:

Rosen Sunvisor Systems provides incredibly engineered sunvisors for an array of vehicles, including aircraft, automotive, rail, military, first responders and marine industries.

However they did point me to another product they make and it looks like a good idea:

Our universal arc arm system with a tube mount rotates into a wide variety of positions to give you just the right sun coverage, with a sleek and minimal modern arm design. Installation is simple! Tube clamp sizes available are 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1".

It offers more flexibility in positioning than their standard type. I know Rosens are expensive, but I have flown with them in the past and they are high quality and worth every penny, They are especially great in the winter here in Alaska where the sun is almost always just above the horizon. I was unable to find any reviews on the ol' interwebs about them. Anyone had any experience with them?

I bought them for my Maule and was pleased with them. About the best in tinted plastic one can wrangle, I have to imagine. Clipped right on the steel tubes like they were meant to go there.

I did wish they were tinted a little darker from time to time, however.
