Guys, I have to drill the flap drive arms to the torque tube as I am to the point that I am going to sheet the wing. Can those of you who have done this outline the process for getting it right. I know that the input arm on the torque tube has to be at the proper angle when the flap drive arms are against the stop ( flap steel tube). How did you determine this angle? Is there a "better" angle than what is shown on the plans that has been determined through experience? Finally, I assume you drilled the arms in place, how did you get the hole to be dead center on the arm/tube assembly? Thanks for taking time to answer.

I did it after the wings were on the fuselage, since the fit is very tight in the wing root. It seems that the consensus is you pretty much can't get it perfectly right without the wings on the fuselage. How are you finding that you'll have to get it done before sheeting? Maybe I'm thinking of a different part?
