  • Trim wheel assembly - nut type

Hi all, I have a quick question: I know normally you use a castle nut with cotter pin on anything that moves, but the nut in the plans on the trim wheel assy looks a lot like a Nyloc type nut. Also, since it’s a friction type setup maybe it is different than “normal”? What have you all used?
    Thanks!

I think in this case either would be OK. With a normal AN365 you have more ability to adjust the tension. Mark
