I'm wondering why in the plans the aileron pulley bracket that attaches to the strut attach fitting has a 1/4" hole called out while the ms 20220-2 pulley and the cable retainer have 5/16"? Am I missing a bushing?

I recall installing a bushing there. You have to fabricate some bushings yourself from the stock which is included.
I have no idea why that hole is undersize

I think it's because it's hard to get a wrench in the bracket so a smaller wrench size is better. Eric Newton - Long Beach, MS http://mybearhawk.com

I bought my kit second hand, the previous owner had started working on the other wing so I looked to see what he had done and that was to drill the bracket to 5/16. I took the pulley off and there appears to be enough metal left to be safe although I'm no engineer. I may call Bob and see what he says before I order more pulleys or rebuild the other bracket.
