I have the rear auto pilot mount from Bearhawk but I am using Dynon servo's and the pitch server doesn't fit. I knew this going in to it. I came up with a point to mount the pitch servo that seems to have no issues but I would like other opinions. This mount is a quick mockup. I would make it out of thicker metal. The last two pictures show the servo at each full deflection of the elevator. The big white bar is just some junk laying round the show that would work quick to connect the servo and elevator bell crank. Does anyone see anything I am missing?
    Thanks

I would use the factory mounting plate as well. that plate needs to be extremely stiff. they use 1/8" plate. your dynon servo will work just fine i do it all the time.

The servo will not fit on the factory plate. If I use the spot in the pictures the plate will be made in 1/8 plate also with bends for reinforcement.

What's the distance from servo arm to elevator? Wondering about possible flex in the push/pull tube connecting the servo to elevator....
Disclaimer: I am only familiar with the Patrol but that looks okay to me.

    Good luck with your build!

The rod at the official mounting plate is about 24 inches. This would be closer to 20-21inches.

For those wanting to use the Factory Pitch/Yaw bracket with Dynon, the Dynon servo will work using 7/8" aluminum spacers, that Mcmaster Carr stocks. Add these between the servo bracket and the mounting plate.
