  • Landing Lights

I’m installing my landing lights in my BH5. I got the mounting brackets from Virgil for the Flyled Taildragger lights. Did anyone use any particular angle for your lights? Mine and plumb with the wing at about 11.5 degrees nose up. The lights have two LEDs that point down as taxi lights and 5 that point straight ahead. I’ve roughed in the hole in the wing but I’m hesitant to install the bracket. Thoughts?

    it’s these lights: https://flyleds.com/products/#!/Tail...ax/p/525013557

    Thanks,

Same with a Patrol...cutouts are done, but gonna wait until I have the wings on and a dark night on the taxiway to adjust the angle to install

The landing light bracket has a different flange angle top and bottom to match the upper skin and lower skin. This allows the installer to easily set the angle and secure it.
If you feel it’s pointing up turn it over and see if better matches the skins.
