Any recommendations for a good brand of VHF com antenna?

Ray Miller if on a budget, Dorne-Morgolin if money is no option, and Comant for the middle of the road. All will get the job done, Comant and DM will generally get closer to ideal when tuning from my experience. If I remember correctly, generally the Falcons (french) used DM and the Lears used Comant. There are probably more home builts flying with Ray Miller than any other brand. Ray Miller will usually come with a gasket, DM generally come with a doubler and gasket, Comant you are on your own for gaskets/doublers. All will need mounting hardware...stainless screws if I remember correctly. Use nut plates inside to mount the antenna to make your life easier.

Commant seems to be a popular choice, looking around our local homebuilts. I can't fault mine.
