  • Bendix Magneto Harness Plates

Hi All. Was wondering if anyone had some old style mag plates they would part with for a price? Am looking for the type that has four female terminals that the male lead wires screw into. I can't find a part number for them nor can I find anyone supplying any. Most of the newer harnesses already have the cables swaged to a new plate but at a much higher price. The plate would be for a Bendix S4-20 mag. I need two. Thanks to those that reply

I'd call Bob Barrows and ask him. He has an upstairs archive of ancient aviation treasures, and he builds engines and usually supplies magnetos with them. This is one of those cases where it's just a handy coincidence that he's also the designer.

Thanks Jared. I bought some stuff over 25 years ago from Bob while building up an 0-235 for a Christavia. Small world. Just seems these days I don't have the time to chase someone down on the phone anymore. I found some at Preferred Airparts for a real good price.
