Well after discussing finances with the wife, I have decided to go with a fixed pitch Sensenich prop for now and just get it in the air. I will save up for the whirlwind or maybe an MT for a couple of years while flying with the fixed pitch. I found a nice 76" Sensenich with only 78 hours on it and purchased it. I had the seller ship it to Memphis Propeller for a repitch and i now have it in my hangar. However, I needed a 2" prop spacer and had to order it. Was due in tomorrow but I just got a note fom UPS that the shipping is delayed due to weather. The spacer is stuck with UPS in Hodgkins, IL until further notice. Once I get the spacer, I will mount the prop, fit the spinner and will be in the air soon thereafter. Two weeks maybe.
