IO-360 to O-540 Engine Upgrade Tips

I don't "have a dog in this fight" but does the 036 plane have only main fuel tanks? Would you need to add tanks? I thought the aux tanks were of particular importance for 540 planes for fuel range/time ? Can they be added to existing wings without major major work?

The aircraft getting the upgrade has the AUX tanks already. I never use them with the 360.

Wouldn't a turbo added get you back to seal level performance ? Then there is also the nuclear option--- the PT-6-42 :-)
