Does anyone know what happened? Looks like the gear collapsed and both spars failed. Just looking at the one photo.

Briefly, cross wind got him. Damage - both gear and shock struts. Left wing pretty bad. Right wing OK. Most aft belly aluminum panel crunched up. Stick assy also damaged. But fuselage looked OK with no evidence of anything except possible left elevator out board tip scraped pavement and maybe is slightly bent up in the counterweight area. Prop tips damaged on carbon fiber prop. Needs to be sent to Hartzell.
Mike, who was flying, is a super good guy and also a good stick. I feel really bad for him. Many of you know Mike from your kit deliveries or perhaps flew with him. Or from the booth at OSH.

Looks like a really nice plane too. Paint job is very similar to your 4 place Mark.
