  • "New posts" button

    Hey Eric and Jared

Any chance of getting a button of some kind called "New posts" or something that would only display posts that have happened since my last visit? It exists on the VansAirForce and EAA forums pages, so I'm hopeful that it could be implemented here. Now, I don't know how complicated it would be to do, so I'm just asking the question.

    Thanks a bunch

I just click on "Latest Activity". It shows the latest posts in order.

The one I use is "Todays Post" right under the "Forums" button near the top. It only appears on the main forum index page. From any page click the "Forums" button then it will be there.

Hi Mark, thanks for asking. As of now, that feature is not available. VAF uses software made by the same company that makes this software, but ours is a later version. The newer version doesn't have a "show unread posts" option yet, but the best alternative for now is the "Latest Activity" tab on the home page.

IT appears to me that the "Today's Posts" is a reverse chronological list of posts and "Latest Activity" is a reverse chronological list of topics. The "Today's Posts" list will show the title in bold if you haven't yet read it. Also, it isn't a list of just today's posts (I can see some from yesterday) so it may be the button you are looking for.

This is all via the web application on the Chrome browser.
