Window advice

Regarding my 4-place left rear window, I’m after some ideas of how to seal the front edge. I’m wondering about simply applying silicon between the acrylic and the door frame as an adhesive/sealant. Currently the acrylic has a slight outward bow to it and obviously it will catch some airflow even when sitting flat.

I’m keen to avoid additional hardware in this area as the front door is already a tight fit to the same frame. Thoughts appreciated.

I would recommend a vertical strip of aluminum to trim out the front of the window Nev. It might could have a small 90 bend flange if that helps make it fit.

Silicone can be troublesome to use as it makes painting anything very difficult that has had silicone touch it. There are other sealants that might be better. Mark

Can your installation accept a piece of .020 aluminum with a joggle to accommodate the skin of the window?
