As a user, I've been noticing, and have also been told on occasion by other users, how sub-optimal the search function was at bearhawk.tips. As of now I have enabled a different type of search utility there. If anyone would like to give it a try, please let me know how it works. It can be hard for me to test from a variety of browsers and devices.
The new search method allows you to see the results in real time, without having to load a page of results. Though it will still do that if you press enter. There is a little down arrow you can click that will allow you to search only post titles or post content, or both, and also checkboxes to allow you to exclude the Kit Builder Manual or the Beartracks archive. Some folks only use one of those and not being able to exclude the other makes the search pretty useless.
I've made a few test searches for topics I've been looking for lately, and from my end it's much better so far.
