  • Stretched pacer with Bearhawk wings…

Anybody on this forum ever heard of a stretched Piper pacer fuselage with Bearhawk wings ? Sounded pretty cool .

What is the advantage? The wing and strut attach points won't match up. The result won't be as rugged or spacious. Even if you already have a Pacer fuselage, it would be less effort and possibly less total cost to buy a "bare"(?) Bearhawk fuse from Mark and sell the Pacer fuse.

I asked Bob once whether he might ever do a side by side version of the LSA. He said no, but if someone really wanted one, they could buy a Wagabond fuselage and adapt it to use the BH LSA wings.

They’re a Maule/BH hybrid out there which would be pretty similar to a Producer(Bushmaster)/Bearhawk hybrid. So, maybe it’s sorta been done.

I too am curious would the perceived advantage is.
