Towards the end of my build I was looking at how to change oil. The bottom of the my engine is a bit busy, exhaust, Vans FAB intake, SCAT hose, etc. A common oil change accessory on inboard boat engines is having a fitting and hose replace the oil drain plug. I bought a 90 degree fitting 1/2" pipe - -6AN. Aeroquip Litestart hose from their 2/3 the way up the right side of the engine mount on the right side with a cap on it. I saw the quick disconnect fittings on ACS, but space is so limited I wasn't sure I could get my hand up in there to connect a hose.

I use a 5 gallon bucket with a 12V pump off Amazon for $25. A few holes in the top to place the oil filter and have it drain in the bucket. It worked perfect - once. Cheap Amazon pumps and 100W oil are not a great match. I guess I got my money's worth. The hose can be directed downward out the bottom of the cowl, and gravity drain the oil into the same bucket, which is how I performed the 2nd oil change.
A remote oil filter mount, and the this hose make oil changes quick and easy. I am looking for a better pump. On the boat I had I used a drill powered pump for years.
