Companion QB Kit. The engine will be a 4 cylinder fuel injected Lycoming using the Airflow Performance FM-200A fuel injection system with their Auxiliary Pump (boost pump) and fuel filter. Has anyone installed this Airflow Performance system and where + how did they install the fuel pump and filter? I am hoping to see pictures of the installation and hardware used in securing the components. Any help and/or advice greatly appreciated!

I believe Don and Kyle know experimental mechanical FI better than anyone. Their business modle depends on your success. Go with whatever they say. I have a Bendix system and installed their fuel pump under the floor just aft of the gascolator. I used Bob's Gascolator instead of a filter and Kyle approved of that installation. I doubt he thinks its better than the filter though. I like that the gascolator protects water collecting and freezing in the fuel lines.
My installation uses a vertical draft oil sump. Decide on your fuel injection installation before you order your exhaust. Additionally, Heat is your enemy, so plan the plumbing to keep the fuel lines short. Every foot of fuel line and any hardware in the engine compartment will heat up the fuel.
My Patrol's Fuel Pump is installed after the gascolator below the floor aft of the adjacent to the front seat. Generous use of adle clamps securely holds everything in place.

If you use a filter, try to make it is easy to get to, or you won't want to get to it. A canister style is easier to service, and I am going to change one of mine to that, for that reason.
