  • Wiring white tail light

What do you use to join the wire in the middle where the wire will hinge, to prevent fatigue and eventually breakage. Is there a connector that can fit there and act like a hinge D4ABBED5-41ED-4071-BF0F-772CF71D6B88.jpg

I weuld use a "sacrificial jumper". Make the wire to the rudder/light, and the wire in the fin, a little long. put a connector on both ends. tuck the connectors into both when hooked up. The jumper will only be a few inches long. When it breaks, make another one. So you have a 2-5" wire, with a terminals on both ends, that is easy to replace.

Thanks. That sounds like an easy and effective plan.

FWIW, I have a tail beacon, white position and strobe light. I took a photo of an installation that I liked and copied it. The fabric work is similar.

My covering will not allow this, but had I known, it would have been the way to go
