Returned home yesterday morning after a wonderful week at Oshkosh. The best part was meeting so many folks from the Bearhawk forum and seeing their beautiful airplanes. Loved the Bearhawk walk. Thanks Brooks for organizing it!! Overnighted in Sidney, Nebraska due to a sky full of thunderstorms. What a difference winds make. Trip to Oshkosh was 1004nm, 8:24 in the air, close to a direct route. Trip home was 1059nm due to weather diversions and 10:54 in the air. Photo was taken just after tying down after a 7:30 pm Sunday evening arrival. Surpisingly,traffic in the Fisk arrival was fairly light at that time

I was 1,319 miles home with a diversion at the end of the 1st day due to winds at my intended stop.

14 hours on the button for the two days, headwinds are no fun
