I flew in yesterday morning from the Supercub gathering at New Holstein 30 east of here. I’m in HBC row 322. Donna and Dennis are in row 319. TWO companions are here. Utahjay’s plus one other. Both in Homebuilt Parking.

We are in HBC row 323 on the south end, one spot up and one spot over from Brooks. We saw the red 103BH Companion in showplane parking, and Jay's blue Companion a couple rows up.

Where are you coming from? I am in SC and tried to go yesterday. Lines of bad weather and storms everywhere. Today would be a real crapshoot. Tomorrow looks like storms up near Oshkosh. I wonder if anyone down south made it through VFR. I am looking at coming up Wednesday and stay until Sunday.

We left Thursday and made it to near Louisville KY. Then the next day we made it to south Wisconsin. We typically had a small window between the low morning clouds and the afternoon storms. Take your time and stay safe, we'd rather see you next year if we need to!

I’m arriving Tuesday afternoon, airline flight to MKE. Will head straight to the Bearhawk booth of course! Looking forward to meeting Bearhawk folks and seeing (studying) completed Bearhawks to get as many ideas as possible. Gotta get my build across the finish line!

It took us 3 days to get from N Idaho to Pipestone MN and had an incident between a plane in our group and a neighboring corn field. Nobody hurt but his airplane. Weather and drama had us stuck in Pipestone so we hitched to Sioux Falls, rented a car and pulled into OSH at 10 last night (Monday). Lodging at Marian Univ in Fond du Lac. Looking forward to the walk today at 2! Sorry the Patrol is in a hangar at Pipestone... maybe not so sorry on Thursday!

I left OSH this morning after the first wave of rain passed through and just put the plane in the hangar at home. I had a great time seeing friends and planes both old and new. If any new Bearhawks arrive, please post pictures!

It was great meeting the Bearhawk community this year, I got a lot of ideas for mine! Thanks for Bearhawk the Company for providing the wonderful dinner. My 19yr old nephew attended Oshkosh for the first time, with me, and is just absolutely sold on the Companion after looking at them. He just needs a few more dollars to put together to get started Looking forward to seeing everyone and more completed Bearhawk next year!

Highlight of my visit this year was to see a Patrol on Amphibious floats on the BH stand

Flown from my neighborhood (Central Maine) all the way to OSH on amphibs! He also owns a Carbon Cub on amphibs made by PK floats as well. The company is about 20 miles upriver from where I have my hangar in Old Town. Nice to see you might not need a ventral fin to have floats on a Patrol. Eager to link up with the owner and see how it flies.
