  • Titanium Bucking bar

    Hey Guys:

Have ya'll used a titanium bucking bar. Is it better or not? Is it worth the money?

  • #2
Without doubt worth the money. I have a small 4" bucking bar that surpasses all of my various steel bars. It sounds hard to justify the expense until you have used one after using regular steel.

Seems like titanium would be too light... You mean tungsten?

I purchased mine from http://www.tungstenbuckingbars.com . They are also on ebay and i found their prices including shipping there were cheaper. I use two. the one I used for 90% of the time is a ETBB13 which is 4"x1"x0.625". One end is square and the other is angled. I also have a 1"x1"x2.25" where one end is square and the other has about a 20deg angle. I probably could have done without the 1"x1" bar. On ebay I paid $117 including shipping.
