How do the two elevators connect? Is there a pin that goes through the fuselage and into the bearings? The “Elevator Bearing Kit” has 4 bearings. Two fit in the elevator tube, I’m not sure where the other two go.

The bearings are bolted to the fuselage and then the elevators ride on the bearings. The outer portion of the elevators bolt via the hinge to the horizontal stabilizer. Where the elevator control cables connect the two elevators link. Here are a couple pictures I found from Elliot Abel build log.
This one shows the two elevators connecting together with the cables.
