Hi, my name is Jean Turgeon and I live in Lakeland FL. I grew up in Quebec and developed a passion for aviation at a very young age when my dad would take us fishing in remote areas. We flew Cessnas, Beavers, Otters and Norsemans. In my early 20's, I got my PPL and flew for fun until I started a family. I then convinced myself that I could not afford flying and raising a family at the same time and had to put my passion on the back burner. I moved my family to TX 16 years ago and we have been in FL for the last 5 years. Last year, my youngest son was about to start college and I figured it was time to start flying again. I hooked up with a CFI here in Lakeland and we did flight review on a LSA until I got my Canadian PPL converted to US. For the time being, I rent the LSA and fly around Central FL and along the coast line, but I'm thinking about buying my own airplane. I'm very interested in the Bearhawk specs and at the possibility of putting one on floats one day. I'm not one that would build one from scratch but would be interested in buying one that's already built or finding someone that would build it for me.

I plan on going to the show in Sebring in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Hi Jean, do you know Graham Meise over in Kissimmee? I stoped by to visit with him one afternoon and he's a very nice fellow. He has a 4-place kit underway, and would be a close-by contact that would be good to know. He has a listing on the builder map at bearhawkbuilder.com with his phone number. I have not met Mike Araldi, but I believe he used to be in Lakeland with the very fancy yellow Bearhawk. Also of note is that Ernie Green was selling his 4-place Bearhawk up in Jacksonville. His ad is no longer on Barnstormers though, so it may be sold.

Thanks Jared - I don't know Graham but Kissimmee is a short drive from here so if I decide to jump in a Bearhawk project, I will definitely contact him. I've seen pictures of the "fancy yellow Bearhawk" and it looks really good - I could not find any picture of the inside though. It does not look like the Jacksonville Bearhawk is still for sale - not sure it is sold or was taken off the market. I'll stop by the Bearhawk booth in Sebring next week and will take a close look at the Patrol.

Hi all, My name is Shane and i live in Burlington Ontario Canada. I purchased the plans for the Patrol a couple of years ago and then got very buisy. I asked Bob if he could provide me with coordinates for the airfoil so that i could cut out some stuff on CNC but he was not able to provide them for me. has anyone else got the polars for the airfoil of have it drawn in Autocad or solidworks??
