  • Hello from the Oregon coast

    Hey folks,
Zane from BCP encouraged me to sign up for the forum.....probably so I would stop pestering him with texts asking BH questions, lol!

I know I have met many of you online, or at various backcountry locations, but wanted to officially introduce myself. I've gotten most of my backcountry experience in Kitfox's, a modified Pacer, and a Maule, but have always wanted a Bearhawk. Eight or nine years ago, I flew Mark G. Bearhawk at the Arlington fly in as we were starting to outgrow our Pacer. It just wasn't the right time for me to start a build project, so we ended up buying a nicely set up Maule.

Well, I'm now flying a Bonanza and a Pitts, and really missing having a backcountry airplane. Last weekend, we took a friend of mines Pacer into Chukar flats on the John Day to show him around, and it really struck me how much I miss having an airplane to take the family into places like that to camp. We are starting to dream about building/buying a Bearhawk in the future.

Looking forward to learning more about this great aircraft!

    Brent

I didn't even know you sold the Maule, but my head is stuck pretty deep in the sand at present.

I don't think Z minds, I text him frequently and he almost always responds. 😆
