Hi everyone! I joined to start learning about all things Bearhawk. I built and fly a Van’s RV-10, but with the announcement of the Bearhawk 5 I’m entertaining the idea of selling it and building a Bearhawk. My timing couldn’t be worst with the cancellation of Osh but I can still start my research. Who knows, if Collin Campbell accepts visitors we’d like to fly up and see the prototype in person this summer vice waiting In Sun’n Fun next year.

i apologize in advance for asking any questions that have already been asked a thousand times. I’ll try my best to search existing posts for the answer before I ask.

    Thanks!
    Todd

Hi Todd. Welcome to the forum. The prototype Model 5 will only be at Collin's for a few more weeks. Then it will likely go north to Canada. If you would like to ask questions about the new Model 5 - you are welcome to call or email. 512/626-7886 or N95MF@hotmail.com

Thanks Mark! I don’t have any questions at the moment, but’s that’s probably because I don’t know what I don’t know at this point. I’m eventually gonna need to see a completed 5 in-person before pulling the trigger on a kit but I can easily wait until next years Sun’n Fun or OSH as we’re in the process of building a house at the moment so next year will be the earliest I can start a new project anyway. The trip to see Collin was just spitballing as an add on to a trip we’re planning to replace OSH. the meantime I’m hanging on every word of your reports and of course the videos as well.

Hi Todd, welcome to the forum, I think there are answers to questions here that you have not thought of yet. Its my experience that here everyone is very free with information. I know I have gotten answers to any question I have thought to ask and have tried to answer a few too. I live in Tuscaloosa so im in the heart of the Alabama football religion, But im a heathen and I dont subscribe to it.
