Hello all you Bearhawk fans! New to the group. I'm a 500+ hour pilot flying a variety of aircraft from Cessnas, turbo props, and some time in turbojets. This past August my partner and I sold our C-185 Amphib. Great plane! But he will be moving out of the area in a year or so to head South to warmer climates and less tax avarice states than NY, and I wasn't flying as much, particularly where I need to land on H2O. I belong to a great local flying club and thought this would be all I need, and then I learned about the Bearhawk 5. So far, I like everything I see!

I'm quite handy, but I've never built an airplane before. The quick build kit is definitely my style.

Looking forward to this journey...Appreciate any suggestions on next steps.

    Best,

    Barnaby
