Anyone planning to attend the new Copperstate at Buckeye in February this year? We plan to fly down but haven't decided if we'll overnight or not. We'd like to check out the camping area first but dinner plans with the group would sway us to stay over. Pat

Plans are starting to firm up for Copperstate. Two other Bearhawks are planning to arrive Friday, campout then depart Saturday afternoon, so that is what I plan to do as well. I flew down to check out the camping area last week. It's a bit of a hump to carry gear from the show line to the camping area so we will probably all park in the camping area. If you don't see any Bearhawks on the line walk over to the camping area. I'll have a cell phone if you want to meet. 661-317-6534. We're going to try to have a Bearhawk gathering at a Buckeye restaurant Friday night.

I will be flying in Friday morning for a turnaround. Was hoping to maybe camp over but the forecast to return home to
Southern California on Saturday is not promising so not going to overnight it. I will head over to aircraft camping at various times in hopes of meeting some of you fellow Bearhawkers.

Back from Copperstate, chilly for AZ today but still a good time. Three Bearhawks in attendance. Sorry, didn't get any pics. Met Mark from Hood River OR.-good guy. Tim from Upland CA, almost finished and will be joining us for camping when he's done. Carol met many others while I was at some forums, including, I believe, Larry from Mogollon AZ, and others that know builders, including one from RimRock AZ. Look forward to seeing more in attendance next year. Looks like Copperstate may have found a home at Buckeye.
