I see at least one builder has placed his servos in the cockpit. Is there any reason not to do this? Are they better placed in the wings and down the back?

Keep them in the cockpit to keep the wiring short. Mechanically there should be no difference.

The AP Servo install in ZK-FHR is very clean and easy to accomplish. They are both under the pilot's seat.

I prefer to direct mount with a servo arm rather than use capstan units. In the Patrol I had pitch at the idler arm and roll in the wing. In the 4-place both were under the seats.
