  • CP 214 rivet squeezer

Any of you that have a CP214 squeezer out there, I'm looking for a user manual please - I am a complete novice to these machines. I'm not sure if the post that sticks out of the body is adjustable or not. I am using the thinnest flat die I have, and it is crushing my #3 rivets. That doesn't bode well for the #4's.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Well, it might be adjustable, or might not be. You can buy the parts to make it adjustable for about $70, or you can work with shims like 3/16" washers. Drive out the pins that hold on the yoke and you'll be able to tell right away if the set is adjustable. If it is in two pieces that thread together, then it is adjustable. If you are still in doubt, post a picture or two. How thin are your thinnest dies? Around 1/8" or so?

Not a manual per se, but should help you a bit: http://www.pneumatictoolsonline.com/...n_Riveters.pdf
