'Easy Button' for Flap and Aileron Hinge Mount Bushings

Build buddy got a wild hair and had these made up by a local machine shop with CNC lathe... 4130N rod stock. With two scratch built patrols, that was going to be 54 little 4130N washers to turn out. Met the shop owner last night, and he's happy to make up more if there is interest. PM me if you want contact info. No financial interest or otherwise... just nicely done work.

Not trying to be critical, but are they supposed to be that thick? I don’t have a Patrol so I can’t look at what the plans call for. They look pretty heavy.

My LSA plans say the washer is 0.080 thick and the tube is .090 wall thickness so I think the picture looks about right. I made some of these on a conventional lathe before I decided to buy a quick build kit.

Nice! Yes - the CNC lathe did a fair job of maintaining the as drawn dimensions. We should get to welding up the rest of the hinges soon.
