Greetings: I was entertained by your posting. I am scratch-building a Patrol up north, near Superior. Drove thru your fair-city on Saturday. I live in the house in which my father was born. My great-grandfather's brother owned a small farm on the 40 acres to the east of our property. He was trained as a goldsmith in Finland and spent weekdays working in Duluth,MN while his wife ran the farm. He was a jack-of-all-trades, had a shop in his basement that was more like an alchemy lab. During my childhood years great-uncle Alfred was my idol. Among other things, he spend his last years building a pipe-organ. A third-floor room of his house had the floor covered with hand-made organ-pipes. He died during a blizzard when I was about 10 years old with his unfinished pipe-organ occupying the 3rd floor.

I have inherited his legacy; my family refers to my Patrol project as "The Pipe Organ"
