    Thoughts on priming stringers.

IMHO seems a bit of "overkill" - I did not even consider doing them but for a second of two...

    PA-001 Lycoing fuel pump alert

Table 2 of the Service Bulletin No. 671A shows only HIO-360 and TIO-360 type engines possibly affected. Someone correct me if I'm not reading that right!

    Heated Pitot Controller mount

@FFTravism Yes, located it in the outermost bay of the right wing. Not sure which build log you're looking at, but my ADAHRS is behind my instrument panel...

    Heated Pitot Controller mount

I made a bracket with plate nuts (for removal of controller if necessary) and attached with rivets to wing rib. Also cut /placed access panel.

Tell us what you did today on your Bearhawk Project

McFarland stated that the "...second fit looked better than the first, would work, but not sure for how long." So after I had time to think about things, I fabricated a different bracket which allow me to reposition the clamp slightly more aft and inboard. This freed up enough cable slack to...

Tell us what you did today on your Bearhawk Project

Okay, here is a "re-clock" of the cable clamp to reduce the angle to the mixture control arm. Limited by amount of available cable flex I had between firewall clamp and cable clamp on sump. Took out some of the angle. Will run it by McFarlane again...if they "no-'go" again I'll be struggling on...

Tell us what you did today on your Bearhawk Project

In the process...hopefully enough cable play between firewall clamp/pass-thru and cable clamp on sump bottom to allow for setting an angle.

I will...this is just a initial fit/function setup. Thanks for the second set of eyes!!

Tell us what you did today on your Bearhawk Project

That's the back-up plan...maybe enough cable slack between firewall pass thru clamp to cable clamp on base plate to re-clock. Will disassemble and check possibilities if McFarlane says "No-Go" as it is now. I do not want to have another cable made!!$$

Tell us what you did today on your Bearhawk Project

Got my McFarlane engine control cables in this past week and have done initial mock up/install - smooth as butter! Not sure if the angle on the mixture cable is too much and have a query into their cable/tech support guy. McFarlane was/is great to wok with. There is about a five week wait time...

    Engine port confusion

Disclaimer - Check with Lycoming, but I think... the capped fitting facing aft is the oil cooler out (back to the engine) and oil to the cooler is a fitting that should be located low underneath the right side PMAG and slightly more inboard. The other capped fitting was used for a viscosity...
