Garmin Loading Tool GTX45R problem & solution

I just wanted to post a solution in case anyone has the same issue.

I recently updated my GTX45R transponder using the Garmin Loading tool. Everything worked fine, except for the ADSB firmware. Every time I tried to upload it, the usb would disconnect and timeout.

I was using an old usb printer cable and the solution was a new usb cable.

It may be only on software prior to Axis 2.21, but the transponder had to be updated without the Axis display powered up to allow the ADSB to load properly.

For others, this is an Axis related issue, not an issue with the G3X.

It's entirely possible that is what I did. I don't remember if the Axis displays were on or not.
