Newton SPRL Fuel Valve Cover 3D Print

I didn't like the fuel valve sits above the floor board and would allow things to fall under. I made a cover for the fuel valve to prevent anything from falling under. It is designed for AN526-632 screws and nut plates.

I had similar feelings to yours about the mount that comes with the kit. I replaced the sheet metal mount with a new mount that leaves it completely enclosed.

IMG_3169.jpg IMG_3131.jpg IMG_3125.jpg I used a 1/8” shim under the mounting flange I turned down on the lathe. The gascolator is just about touching the cowl extension underneath. Closest I could get it to the floor.
