    Luke, I hauled my Luscombe wings the same way several years ago. Difference here is the fuselage will have to sit on top of the wings so I need a way to support everything. There isn't room in the trailer unless I stack everything or I stand the wings vertical. I don't want to stand the wings and risks leading edge damage so I'm building some simple but sound crates.

        Thanks Luke! Still lost of work to do on the fuselage but yeah it is a great head start.

        My dad built a crate which we will screw to the floor of the trailer. We will attach the fuselage to the crate then run straps from the fuselage to the tiedown rings in the trailer. Should be good.

          Looks good!
          I guess you'll use some old carpet or similar to prevent the wood from denting the curved surface of the under-wing, in transit.

            Yes, we have some packing foam to place under the wings.
