    We mounted our handhold one station ahead so we could actually use it when you are moving the plane backwards, lots of ideas out there just have to pick the right one for you.

    I have many hours in a Cessna 180. I really liked the lift bar setup.

    I figured that with back issues, a lift handle on the lower longerons would not work for me.

    The drawing is what I have done. The tail is too narrow to have bars on both sides but I will have a pull out bar on the left side and I can insert a bar on the right side when the left side is out. I got Bob's blessing before I built this setup.
