I haven't been to Sun-N-Fun since the year of the tornado and I know a lot has changed since then. A question for anyone that is familiar; Is there somewhere to park fly-in aircraft at Paradise City the ultralight/LSA area for the day? I'm going to fly Marks BH LSA into Sun-N-Fun for a least a couple days this year and I'm trying to figure out best arrival and parking situations. I'm thinking it might be easier to get into Paradise City as long as there are parking spots available for fly-in aircraft once I get there. The other option is to fly in per the NOTAM and park in the Homebuilt parking area.

Over the years I have flown to both locations. Homebuilt may be your best, however Paradise City, one could possibly give demo flights. I think I would do Homebuilt first then pop over to Paradise. You could also visit South Lakeland strip. If so, see Jay Kurtz. Stinger

Well, I know the Just Aircraft folks go into Paradise City and fly the wheels off their planes giving demo rides while there. I'd call Mark's contact and double-check, but if you want to give demo rides, there's a lot of opportunity there.Jim Parker
